Maybe because we want to see some explanations of our life.
Or we want to know meanings of joy and sorrow.
Why do I feel good after helping others?
Why do I feel bad when I need to lie?
We may also want to see something ... invisible.
There must be invisible power behind reality.
Actually the most of stories are talking about this invisible power.
Story gives me the depth for my life.
Without it, my life would have become shiny cool plastic.
なぜ、私たちは語り手が必要なのだろうか？
演劇、映画、本、作家、役者、、、
人生の意味や、喜びや悲しみの意味を
知りたいのからだろう。
人を助けた後、なぜ気分が良いのだろうか？
嘘をつかなくてはならないとき、嫌な気分になるのはなぜ？
私たちは、何か見えないものをみたいとも感じている。
現実世界の後ろには、見えない力があるに違いない。
考えてみると、ほとんどの話はそんな見えない力について語っている。
物語は私の人生に深みを与えてきた。
もし物語がなかったら、
人生は、冷たいツルツルのプラスティクのように
なってしまった事だろう。
